Meet Our Founder
Out of Office Co was founded by Nicolette Thomas, a Colorado native and realtor known for her warmth, intuition, and nontraditional leadership.
After nearly a decade in the industry, Nicolette noticed something many agents quietly accept: Success often came at the cost of presence. Weekends disappeared. Time with family became secondary. Life started to revolve around being available instead of being fulfilled.
So she made a deliberate, scary shift: Nicolette set boundaries around her time. She protected her weekends during the summer. She spent more time on the lake with her family, leaned into the hobbies that brought her joy, and created space to be fully present outside of work.
What followed surprised a lot of people. Her business didn’t slow down at all. Instead, it became clearer, more joyful, more sustainable - and more successful.
That change influenced how she showed up for clients, her team, and her own life, setting a new standard for how real estate could be done.
That philosophy now defines Out of Office Co.
